Speculator Primary Care Center

2862 State Route 8
Speculator, NY 12164
In 1996 the Town of Lake Pleasant and Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, New York partnered to establish the Nathan Littauer Primary Care Center in Speculator. Located on State Route 8 behind the library (1/8 of a mile west of “The Four Corners” in Speculator), our family health center is open year-round, Monday through Friday, with Saturday hours during the summer. Patient-centered delivery systems, patient satisfaction, positive medical outcomes and improving the overall health of the community are the priorities for Littauer’s Primary Care Center in Speculator.
Our center is one of 10 operated by Nathan Littauer Hospital, so there is easy access to additional medical and surgical specialists if needed. Other services include blood drawing and retail pharmacy delivery. Prescriptions may be dropped off at the PCC Monday through Friday. Littauer's retail pharmacy will fill the prescription and deliver it by courier to Speculator. Two days lead time is advised. Specimens collected at the PCC are transported daily to Littauer's laboratory and analyzed. Reports are then sent to your health care provider, in Speculator or elsewhere.
Speculator Primary Care Center specializes in family and internal medicine including pediatrics and women’s health services. A physician assistant and family nurse practitioner provide on-site care supplemented by bi-weekly visits by a Littauer physician. Appointments are always appreciated but same day, urgent care can usually be accommodated. Emergency services (life threatening) are directed to Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville.
To contact the PCC call 518-548-8155. Questions to the Primary Care Center administrator, Patrice McMahon, may be submitted to
